The Brave Package
Not all pets enjoy spending time at the salon. Some just don't have the confidence, some don't enjoy being away from familiar surroundings, some have had a negative experience.
There are many reasons your pet could be experiencing anxiety around grooming. The Brave Package builds their confidence over several short sessions, with you there, at a pace that works for them. We keep building up their experiences in a positive way to help relieve their anxieties and continue their grooming journey.

Rocco has just finished his brave package and passed with flying colours. My Berner Rocco had a really bad experience with a groomer and lost all confidence, he literally was terrified to go back. I came across Hounds Head Tails and Whiskers after a Google search and we booked the brave package. This has been amazing for Rocco they have built his confidence up spending time ensuring he's comfortable and that I am too. I cannot recommend highly enough they are just the best. Stress free cat grooming

Creating a positive and stress free environment for all our clients is our number 1 priority. We have plenty of options for your cat to discover their favourite way to spend their time with us, because each cat is an individual.
Matted cats
Regular cat grooming is crucial for their health, well-being and overall quality of life. Compacted hair can cause pain that isn't possible to brush out, and matting often means a shave for safe removal. We can offer a lion trim to leave a more even finish.
Mobile nail trims
For cats only, we can come to you for a nail trim, covering Warrington and surrounding areas.
De-shed & blow dry
Regular grooming helps to remove loose hair and dirt, preventing the formation of painful mats that can irritate the skin.

This was the first time I had ever had my cat groomed, and she is 13 years old! I didn't really know exactly what she needed, just that she had matts down her back that needed to be removed. This was what I booked and paid for up front, after a really helpful phone call from Sam. When I dropped my cat off I was really impressed with the set up Sam has in her conservatory, we had a good chat about what was going to happen and left them to it. We came back roughly 30 mins later but after some discussion decided that just having the matts removed made her look too uneven, we decided to go for a lion cut; this was really well explained by Sam and no pressure either way. We left for another 30-40 mins and came back to find a skinny minnie! I'm really glad we decided to do this, as she looks nice and even now, and her fur can grow back fresh from scratch. Thank you very much 😊

I was a little worried about how he would cope, especially as he had quite a lot of tangled and matted fur, but you were so gentle, patient and caring with him. The result is absolutely amazing! The transformation is incredible — he looks so beautiful, clean and comfortable, and it’s clear how much care and attention you put into every little detail. 🥹🐾 Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my boy and for making what could have been a stressful experience so calm and positive for him. Excellent and professional service! My cat was having trouble grooming herself and had a lot of loose, dead hair. She carefully helped remove my cat’s winter coat and did an amazing job. I highly recommend her services!
